Have you always wanted to learn how to take those gorgeous sunset photos with your own camera?

Have you always wondered what the secret is to capturing all the amazing colours in the sky?

Do you want to learn the trick to making the water look silky and the clouds look like they are flying by?

Or capturing the perfect amount of movement in the water with a sky full of colour?

Join myself and fellow photographer Stephen Waller for a sunset  workshop. We will teach you everything that we know about photography and how to create stunning landscape, seascape and long exposure images.

With this being only a small group (maximum of 8) the two of us are able to give you the personalised attention that other teachers can’t give.

We have both been photographers for 16 years collectively and know how to create the best compositions for the most eye catching images.

Our combined technical knowledge and creativity will have you walking away with a collection of stunning images to show your friends and family plus some wonderful memories.

             What you will learn…

  • Aperture
  • Shutterspeed
  • ISO and how the 3 work together to capture every beautiful colour in the sky plus balance the exposure of the foreground for a perfectly balanced image
  • Shooting in manual mode
  • Understanding exposure and composition
  • How to use filters and the best ones to use for different situations.

After going through the basics of how to capture sunsets in Manual Mode we will then get everyone set up and capturing some beautiful colours and water movement. This is a very informative and hands on  workshop where you get a lot of one on one time so that you completely understand how to photograph sunsets and landscapes on your own in the future.

Swaller

After graduating University with a Bachelors degree in Drama majoring in Film and TV, Stephen has forged a 20 year career as a television producer; with the past 17 years working in Children’s Television. The majority of those years were spent at Channel Ten producing such shows as Totally Wild and Scope. While Children’s Television has been an amazing outlet for his creative cravings it wasn’t enough and that’s where photography came in. Stephen started taking his love for photography seriously about 8 years ago and hasn’t looked back.

He has transferred these skills into a successful part-time career as a photographer/blogger and social media influencer, working with Tourism Queensland, Dubai Tourism, Brisbane Marketing, Sunsuper Riverfire and most recently New Zealand clothing company IceBreaker.

And for the past three year he has been able to impart his knowledge and skills by conducting highly successful photography workshops with Larissa.
